The Sweet Dutchess Kitchen and Cafe team aims to bring you a valuable experience from stove to table. Our team shares more than just a passion for mouth-watering food, we strive to deliver great tasting dishes and high quality customer experiences to our community.

 

Rob Velenik


With a passion for joining people together through the love of food, Rob Velenik brings a wealth of 30+ years of industry experience to the Sweet Dutchess table. Over the years, Rob has had the pleasure of serving various positions within the industry including, Director of Catering and Deli Specialist for Pusateri’s Fine Foods; Management for Edward Street Market and Grill; Consultant for Pickle Barrel; President of Rose Reisman Catering; and Director of Business Development for Speducci Mercatto. Through participation in large-scale events, menu development, restaurant rebranding and playing a big player in the growth of a business through the COVID-19 pandemic, Rob has gained valuable knowledge, dedicated craft & skills and proven customer satisfaction that is second to none. Rob is thrilled to venture out and push Sweet Dutchess to the next level with his gained expertise and knack for cuisine!

Chef Marcia Dellepoort

Chef Marcia Dellepoort is known for her profound culinary expertise and determination for success & passion for fine foods! Chef Marcia possesses over 15 years of affluent experience in the food and beverage industry. Chef Marcia has had the pleasure of completing prestigious L’Ecole Cordon Blue Chef training; obtaining experience at numerous high-end and Michelin Star Restaurants in LA such as Lucque and L’Orangerie; Sous Chef for Pusateri’s Fine Foods; personal Chef to a predominate GTA family; Executive Chef at Rose Reisman Catering; Head of Food Preparation for Speducci Mercatto; and owner of Bizou Catering. Chef Marcia also has experience catering to many large events such as The Walk to Conquer Cancer, which provided breakfast and dinner to 4,500 participants; large corporate high-end parties and holiday events; and was responsible for leading a kitchen brigade of 50 cooks. As a winner of Chopped Canada, Marcia is excited to share her fresh perspective of knowledge, expertise and passion for food, entertainment, and service to food-lovers alike.
